Marcel Vigneron arrested for DUI

Top Chef 2 runner-up Marcel Vigneron was arrested and jailed for DUI early Saturday, but made bail and attended a scheduled appearance that night.

Marcel “was initially stopped on suspicion of speeding” early “Saturday off of Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach,” the Orange County Register reports, and “he was given a blood test when the officer noticed he may have been under the influence, said Sgt. Jason Kravetz of the Laguna Beach Police Department.”

Bail was set at $2,500, but he still “attended the Pageant of the Masters benefit gala Saturday night” and “gave a cooking demonstration” on Sunday. The paper has his mug shot.

Marcel may be best remembered for being hazed on the show, and for being assaulted by a fan in a bar.
