Ashley Parker Angel’s Soundtrack to Your Life debuts at #5 on the Billboard 200

Ashley Parker Angel’s Soundtrack to Your Life debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 chart. A press release issued by his record company says this “[proves] he can stand alone” and “is all grown-up.”

It also proves that a non-competition reality TV show vehicle can sell records; basically, There and Back was an extended infomercial for the album. Earlier, the record’s first single, “Let U Go,” debuted at #17 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

The press release also says that, in addition to touring malls starting early next month, he’ll tour with Ashlee Simpson and her new nose soon.
