At 10 p.m. ET, MTV kicks off a talent search unlike most others: I’m From Rolling Stone gives summer internships to six 20-somethings. None of them will be eliminated, reality TV-style, but one will win a position as a contributing editor for the magazine. Rolling Stone has a preview on its blog for the show.
On a less serious note, VH1 will debut The Surreal Life: Fame Games an hour earlier, at 9 p.m. It’s an all-star version of the network’s train-wreck, C-list star vehicle. The show moves to Las Vegas, where the cast members competed (production took place last March) for $100,000.
