VH1 finally announces Surreal Life: Fame Games’ debut date
Eleven months after announcing an all-star, competition-based season of its series The Surreal Life, VH1 will actually air the show.
The Surreal Life: Fame Games will debut Sunday, Jan. 7 at 9 p.m. ET, VH1 finally announced today.
The show is “a ten episode elimination featuring tongue-in-cheek competitions that parody the trappings, costs, conceits and drama of being famous,” according to a press release, and it features “eleven of the most memorable cast members from Surreal Life” competing in Las Vegas for $100,000.
The cast is, according to VH1, “Brigitte Nielsen (Season 3), Chyna Doll (Season 4), Vanilla Ice (Season 2), Pepa (Season 5), Emmanuel Lewis (Season 1), C.C. DeVille (Season 6), Ron Jeremy (Season 2), Jordan Knight (Season 3), Verne Troyer (Season 4), Andrea Lowell (Season 6) and Tracy Bingham (Season 2).” Verne Troyer stepped in to pee all over the new season after Jordan Knight quit the show when it was in production last March.
