ArchivesVH1 debuts the sixth season of The Surreal Life tonight at 9 p.m. ET, opposite the cliffhanger-continuing episode of The Sopranos.
In the house this year is Sherman Hemsley, C.C. DeVille, Alexis Arquette, Tawny Kitaen, Steve Harwell, Andrea Lowell, and, in a cameo role only, Florence Henderson. As to the male reality star rumored to be joining the house, he will be selected during a “15 More Minutes of Fame Reality Hunk Pageant.”
VH1 is doing its best to generate pre-show drama, noting that DeVille is “fresh out of rehab” and calling Arquette “Transgender Hollywood Royalty.” The network has already revealed some of the tasks the cast will be given during their brief stay in the house, although those tragically don’t include an FCC-baiting pixelated orgy.
