Tammy Faye Messner was paranoid about what the cameras might catch during her stay in The Surreal Life 2 house. “I went to bed with my panty hose on and my long pajamas and a robe, so that if I turned over, they wouldn’t see anything,” she tells TV Guide, after explaining that she left her makeup on all the time, except in the bathroom. She adds, “I didn’t take a shower for four days because they couldn’t convince me that there weren’t cameras in the bathroom.” TV Guide asks her about the penile implant episode of her old TV show, and she says, “Christians love sex, too. Heck, we’re not Puritans.” Apparently, though, she still can’t bring herself to say the word “penis,” adding that Ron Jeremy “was just the big guy who’d brought his little pet turtle to the house. I liked him.”
