The Surreal Life producers create WB sit-com that will star Hammer.
The producers of The Surreal Life have created “a half-hour sitcom based on [MC Hammer’s] present family life” that will also star Hammer. Show producer Jay Renfroe says Hammer “became a father figure in the (‘Surreal Life’) house with everybody … [he] has to have his own show.” The show will air on The WB; no date has been set.
