A middle school near Atlantic City will not be the setting for a future episode of The Simple Life. Despite an offer of $5,000 to film at J.P. Cleary Middle School, plans were killed by both the school district and producers. “Buena Regional School District Superintendent Diane DeGiacomo said the producers of the show had become concerned about the controversy and had reached a mutual decision with school officials to shelve the idea,” the AP reports. The report suggests that this taping, despite being close to the premier date, would have been for The Simple Life 3, not a fourth season as we speculated about last week.
