FOX’s The Simple Life 3: Interns debuts on January 26, featuring Paris and Nicole traipsing around parts of the East coast, working in various jobs. But just this week, in New Jersey, “FOX Broadcasting has contacted the Buena Regional School District in Atlantic County about filming the next segment of its reality television program—which features Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie—at J.P. Cleary Middle School, according to district officials,” according to Gannett. A meeting was held Wednesday to discuss plans to have Paris teach and work in the school’s cafeteria, and the school board will meet later to discuss the proposal. Considering the timing, it seems unlikely that this job could be filmed for the third season, although it certainly sounds like the same concept. Might FOX be working on The Simple Life 4, yet another way to inflict the scourge that is Paris Hilton on more of the country? In any case, parents were outraged—outraged!—over the possibility that Paris could possibly corrupt their children. Perhaps some of them had heard advance word about Cindy Adams’ report that there may be two more Paris and Rick sex tapes, or, worse, that Paris was very tardy for her club opening in Orlando. One parent “said the district should have spent time searching the Internet for information about the show’s stars.” Jack Krokos said, “You’ll find things you would not want your 12-, 13-year-old children to be researching.” He knows because he spent plenty of time “researching.” Over and over again.
