All seven episodes of The Simple Life will be included on a double-sided DVD disc that will be released Jan. 20—a week earlier than its planned Jan. 27 release. In addition to outtakes that include Paris and Nicole packing for their adventure, it’ll include Paris and Nicole’s audition for the show, which involved them working at a pet grooming store, The Boston Globe reported earlier. In other news, Nicole Richie is joining her costar in insisting that her on-screen persona is totally fake. “I’m very, very nice with really good manners. I’m not high-maintenance at all. I’m not!” she tells USA TODAY. Of her heroin possession charge, Nicole says that the drugs weren’t hers, but says, “I pleaded no contest, and it was a bump in the road in my life and something that I’ve gotten through.”
