Apparently auditioning for a role in Paris Hilton’s next videotape, Tina Brown gushes all over The Simple Life star in her Washington Post column, if you can call it a column. Tina meets Paris in her SNL dressing room, and describes Paris as “dressed in a seven-inch-long bright pink miniskirt, teetered around like a gorgeous extraterrestrial stork. Her skin has the perfectly smooth, honey-colored finish of Scandinavian furniture.” Furniture? She also describes Paris’ accessories. Apparently life as an heiress isn’t as glamorous as it appears on TV: Paris has “her very own baby pink ‘Hello Kitty’ wallet.” Later Tina says “Paris comes across as a gentle exhibitionist who is eager to please.” Meanwhile, a judge praised Paris’ co-star Nicole Richie’s ability to stay away from heroin. “You seem to be doing really well in maintaining sobriety. I’m really pleased with your progress,” the judge told Nicole, according to E! Online. Finally, appearing at the Billboard Music Awards, Paris and Nicole spoke too fast for FOX’s technology. “Fox sincerely regrets the error” that caused an s-word and the f-word to go out sans-bleeps, The New York Post reports.
