Five months after it was announced that both of Rocco DiSpirito’s restaurants were to be closed, and more than a half a year after the second season of The Restaurant concluded, Rocco is apologizing to his former business partner, who he fought with on the show. “I would like to apologize to Jeffrey Chodorow and others at China Grill Management for any of my actions or words which appeared unkind and/or at times inappropriate,” he wrote. Chodorow doesn’t seem to care, telling Page Six, “If Rocco had come to this conclusion sooner, he might not have lost such a great opportunity.” Rocco does not apologize in the letter to viewers who suffered through two seasons of his painful, awkward “acting” and voice-overs.
