NBC’s TV chief Jeff Zucker said during a conference call that pulling The Restaurant off of Monday nights was a big mistake. For one, Crossing Jordan and Law & Order repeats had fewer viewers than Rocco and company, Variety reports. For two, he says he caved to external pressure: “We made too quick of a decision on that. Under some pressure from stations that were not pleased with the (news) lead-in Monday at 10, I buckled. I regret that I didn’t keep ‘The Restaurant’ on in that time period.” Variety says that the whole series will reair on Bravo, after NBC burns off the final three episodes this Saturday and next Saturday.
