The Restaurant returns tonight.
The Restaurant returns for a second season on NBC tonight at 10 p.m. ET.
Six episodes will chronicle chef Rocco DiSpirito’s battle with his business partner Jeffrey Chodorow. The New York Times lets restaurateurs discuss the first two episodes, and shockingly, they say it’s not really reflective of restaurant life in New York . One says the show “makes us look a little foolish actually,” and another says that the show is “terrible. It’s shabby, terrible soap opera. It has nothing to do with life.”
+ reviews: “Rocco who comes off as the idiot,” “Burnett has fixed what was wrong with this show.”
+ also: in case the restaurant thing doesn’t fly, Rocco is working on a syndicated talk show for the fall.
