NBC renews The Restaurant; Rocco may or may not be a part of next season.
NBC has ordered additional episodes of The Restaurant for midseason. However, exactly what they’ll show is up in the air. Producers are “either going to continue working with Rocco … or we’re going to launch a new ‘Restaurant’ with a new chef, and we might even do both,” Ben Silverman tells The Hollywood Reporter. Both options are in addition to the possibility that Silverman and Mark Burnett will create a similar series in a casino. The Hollywood Reporter also confirms that there will be a Big Brother 5 next summer; it will begin casting in Feb.
