Richard Branson doesn’t just want an apprentice: he wants someone to take over his Virgin empire. And one of the 16 contestants on his upcoming FOX series The Rebel Billionaire will get to do just that. Upping the Apprentice ante, Branson will not only get out of the limo and compete alongside his contestants, but he’ll give both $1 million and his job to the series’ winner. (How exactly that handover will work isn’t clear.) Subtitled “Branson’s quest for the best,” the series will take the American contestants around the world, where they’ll “relive some of his personal experiences.” The series debuts next Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET with a two-hour episode.
