The first episode of The Real World San Diego was watched by 3.89 million viewers, making the series the seventh most popular show on cable for the week. By comparison, Sex and the City was watched by 5.8 million, and SpongeBob SquarePants had 4.2 million viewers. In other news, it appears that the show will switch coasts for the next season. The Real World Philadelphia hasn’t been announced officially, but The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that “producers have a lock on a space in artsy Old City” and says “[s]hooting will begin in April and run through July.”
