Philly police officers arrested for attacking cop guarding Real World house

The two Philadelphia police officers who allegedly attacked another officer who was guarding The Real World Philadelphia house “were arrested on aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy and other charges,” according to the Philadelphia Daily News. They were also charged with “simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.”

Police say that “the fight broke out when the on-duty officer tried to stop one of the men from banging at the Arch Street side door of the Old City building. After opening the door, he allegedly was attacked by both men,” according to the paper.

The fight happened on May 8, 2004, during taping of the series.
