The mayor of Philadelphia says there’s a “good chance it can happen.” “It” is The Real World Philadelphia, and the reason for his optimism is a series of meetings he had with union officials. An announcement was expected yesterday or today; talks are continuing today. An online petition attracted over 3,200 signatures. One of the union reps says that it’s “a whole lot more complicated than who’s doing the work.” The Philadelphia Inquirer says the city’s public transportation system might be one of the issues; it reports that in New Orleans, “Bunim/Murray requested the city’s transportation system re-route buses so they would not interfere with the shots of the building.”
