In a write-up (first discovered by Tubescan) of a The Real World lecture at Slippery Rock University, an attendee reports that Puck told the audience drug use was, during his season, permitted by producers away from the house. Because of Puck’s use of weed, however, producers changed the rule. As Ryan Muldowney writes, Julie mentioned that this rule change was extremely difficult for one male cast member, who she initially didn’t name. But then, “Julie accidentally let it slip that Danny … was a HUGE POT HEAD. Julie was visibly upset that she let it slip, but we assured her we wouldn’t tell anyone. Well, there goes that promise,” Muldowney writes on his web site.
