Julie and Melissa from The Real World New Orleans planned to fly standby on early-morning flights from Boston to L.A. on Tuesday morning, but eventually decided not to; on her web site, Julie talks about seeing flight #11 hit the World Trade Center on TV, and writes, “Melissa and I could have been on that flight.”
