The Real World Miami’s Dan Renzi was arrested Wednesday for masturbating in a Kansas City porn theatre. Although The Smoking Gun has posted a large version of his mug shot, and although the media picked up the story, the most detailed account comes from Dan himself. Posting on his weblog, Dan writes that he “was charged with jackin’ off in a porno theater, by an undercover vice-squad cop.” Although “the cops just gave the other offenders citations to sign, and then they were let go,” Dan explains that once the cops realized he was on The Real World, “they decided they needed to bring ME to the police station, so they could hold me in a cell, take my mug shots, and make me post $500 bail.” They also asked him questions such as, “So, was being on The Real World fun?” and asked for his autograph while he was in a holding cell. By the way, one of the people commenting on Dan’s blog post is apparently the show’s creator and excutive producer, Jon Murray, who wrote, “Dan…you idiot!”
