Las Vegas house cost the Palms $2 million; Ikea-free space matches hotel.
The Real World Las Vegas cast’s living quarters in The Palms takes up the space of six hotel rooms which were demolished for the project. The casino’s owner, George Maloof, used the designer who created the hotel in order “to give the apartment the same signature look,” The Baltimore Sun reports. That means no Ikea in the space, which cost Maloof $2 million. From now on, he’ll be “personally deciding who can stay there—‘high-rollers, celebrities and sports people’ being his first choice,” the paper reports.
