The all 21+ cast of The Real World Las Vegas Alton, 22, a “Navy brat” who “harbors a great deal of unresolved pain due to a major family tragedy”; Arissa, 22, who was “[r]aised in the projects by a single mother”; Brynn, 21, a “self-described party animal” who “is not the type to mince words”; Frank, 22, who was “raised in a small town in Pennsylvania” in “a traditional nuclear family”; Irulan, 21, whose father died when she was six and who “struggled briefly with body-image issues during her high school years”; Steven, 23, who was married and got divorced, and although straight, “supported himself in business school working as a topless bartender in a popular Texas gay bar”; and Trishelle, 22, who “was raised in a small, ultra-conservative town in the bayou of Louisiana” and whose “devout Christian” mother died when she was 14. The bios identify none of the cast members as gay, lesbian, or bisexual, although neither Arissa nor Frank’s sexual orientation is explicitly mentioned, while the rest are. Also, this is the third season in a row that women outnumber men by one, and over half the cast is 22. At MTV.com, you can tour their house and the hotel that they lived and worked in.
