ArchivesThe cast and crew of The Real World Key West, which is now in production, are sitting in the path of a storm that may soon become a hurricane. Tropical Storm Rita is on a path that will take it overtop the southern Keys, where the new season’s house is located.
I asked Bunim-Murray’s spokesperson if the cast and crew were being evacuated, and received this response:
“It is Bunim-Murray Productions policy not to comment on shows while they are in production, so I can’t share any info about the cast or crew of THE REAL WORLD in Key West at this time.”
As a result of Rita, tourists evacuated this weekend, and today, the entire Florida Keys are being evacuated. Thus, unless the cast plans to weather the storm drunk and tied to the mast of a sailboat, they’re probably heading out or are already far away.
