ArchivesThe man who lives next door to The Real World Key West was in court yesterday, suing to prohibit the show from continuing production.
There has apparently been increased traffic in the neighborhood, maybe in part because some asshole published the house’s address and photos of it.
Ed Swift said that kids no longer play in the road because of the traffic. “There is no doubt that it will become a tourist site,” he said. According to the Key West Citizen, “Swift said the lights are so intense that they light up his bedroom, his bathroom and their daughter’s bedroom. The light in the bathroom is so intense that he said he no longer has to turn on the light. [attorney Sandy] Bohrer followed up by asking Swift how much time he spent in the bathroom each day.”
The case continues next week, but the judge asked both parties, “We don’t you try to settle this thing? That’s what you should do. Make the peace.”
