The Real World Chicago’s Cara is the sister of Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle’s speechwriter, Jeff Nussbaum. That “his little sister Cara’s sex life might in any way affect his work” was unexpected, Jake Tapper reports; Jeff and his famous sister have been mentioned in Roll Call twice now. Cara tells Salon, “I guess I didn’t understand how selfish it was” to go on the show without thinking about the effects it would have on others like her brother, and says she wishes she had “this sort of reserved control that my brother has.”
