The Chicago Sun-Times has covered the fatal shooting and other crimes (“In the last two weeks there have been three robberies, an attempted robbery and five batteries in the area, including a strong-armed holdup on their block July 1,” the paper reported) that have occurred near the The Real World Chicago house. And columnist Mark Brown has also written about the location of it. Apparently because of all that, “a spokesman threatened to cut off Chicago Sun-Times’ access to cast members after the show is filmed if the location were revealed,” the paper reported.
