Just under a year after her brother Jack entered rehab, Kelly Osbourne checked herself into a clinic Friday for an addiction to pain killers. Announcing this on Larry King Live Friday, Ozzy said, “We just had to take evasive action very quickly, because the amount of pills that was found in her bag was astounding.” He says addiction is “a family illness,” while Sharon blames herself and Ozzy. “I am angry, I am let down, I feel I’ve failed, again, he’s failed again. It’s just happened again, and I just can’t take it, can’t take it,” she says. News of the World has photos allegedly of Kelly “scoring drugs from a dealer in Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, on Monday.” Meanwhile, Ozzy’s doctor is being investigated by the Calif. state medical board, which is trying to find out if he “overprescribed addictive drugs” to Ozzy and others, the LA Times reports. Ozzy “filed a complaint with the board in early March, contending that [Dr. David A. ] Kipper had him taking excessive quantities of powerful medications for more than a year.” br>+ also: The Osbournes’ third season continues tomorrow night at 10:30 ET with new episodes on MTV.
