On their 60 Minutes “debate” segment last night, former President Bill Clinton and former Senate Majority Leader debated about reality TV, specifically mentioning The Osbournes and Jack Osbourne’s drug problem. Their deep analysis included comments from Dole that networks “package dysfunctional people like the Osbournes, giggle at the coarseness and the crimes, and sink lower for higher ratings.” Clinton’s scathing rebuttal: “Reality TV makes money because adults watch it. Fox, the network full of conservative Republicans, has reality shows and you haven’t criticized them.” Clinton, by the way, says he “never watched ‘The Osbournes.”
