ArchivesOsbournes wins Emmy; Survivor, Trading Spaces lose to West Wing doc.
The Osbournes won an Emmy in the Outstanding Non-Fiction Program (Reality) category, beating American High, Frontier House, Project Greenlight, and two other shows. Sharon and Kelly accepted the award. In the Outstanding Special Class Program category, both Trading Spaces and Survivor lost to “The West Wing: Documentary Special.” Also nominated in the rather bizarrely constructed category were the “I Love Lucy 50th Anniversary Special” and “AFI’s 100 Years.” The awards were presented as part of the Creative Arts Emmys on Saturday Night, which will air on E! Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. EST.
