Host Anderson Cooper wryly explained, “They’re just tiny bubbles.” At the same time, the other two players were in similar small rooms, one with a python and one with roaches falling from the ceiling.
But the bubbles were not all that were in store for Al. Don Ho’s song “Tiny Bubbles” soon began to play—and play over and over again, fast and slow, backwards and forwards, in all sorts of annoying combinations.
Don Ho “died Saturday morning of heart failure,” the AP reported, and says Ho would joke about “Tiny Bubbles,” saying, “I hate that song.” Regardless, his song provided the soundtrack for one of the most memorable challenges of the most memorable and missed reality shows of the past seven years.
