ArchivesWith revelation after revelation about The Hills veracity, or lack thereof, its star has come to her show’s defense. Lauren Conrad released a statement to Us Weekly that says:
“There have been some rumors in the press about The Hills being fake. Many of you have been asking me if the rumors are true. There are false rumors every week about me and I can’t address every rumor out there, but I feel like this was important for me to respond to. The show is not fake and this is really my life.”
Feeling sorry for her is easy. After all, this is her life: Going on dates with actors set up by producers, feuding with people she might actually like but who have no friends of their own so they have to cast for their own wedding party. Tragic.
