ArchivesThe Hills returns for a third and final season Monday, but there was already drama surrounding the premiere party Wednesday night. Multiple sources told Us Weekly that MTV is trying to stop the show’s stars from slamming one another in the media.
During a radio interview with Philadelphia’s Q102 FM Monday, engaged couple Heidi and Spencer slammed Lauren. Spencer said that Lauren is “the douche, the psycho,” and Heidi said, “I never could be friends with some lowlife like that.” As a result, Us says “MTV ‘suspended’ Spencer and Heidi from doing any more media.”
In addition, citing “a show source,” Us Weekly reports that they “were ‘banned’ from attending the MTV show’s post-premiere party Wednesday night in L.A., … due to the couple’s escalating feud with costars Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge. In fact, the entire cast has now been prohibited from speaking about each other in the press, according to the source.”
Apparently, that took effect after Heidi talked to People, saying that she is “moving on” with her life. “I have my life and she has hers and I’m honestly so busy with music that I don’t have time for a feud. … [I’m] just moving on. Moving forward. My life is the best now it has ever been so that is all I’m thinking about,” she said.
