New CW series The Frame is basically Solitary with Big Brother, Amazing Race components

The CW is planning a new reality competition called The Frame that is basically the now-dead Fox Reality Channel’s show Solitary with elements of Big Brother (there’s a live Internet feed) and The Amazing Race (the living spaces will be inhabited by two people with a preexisting relationship). The contestants, however, will apparently live and compete at home, not in a studio.

New York Magazine reports that it will be a “real-time competition series in which teams of two are isolated in small rooms, with their life broadcast on TV and the net as they compete against each other,” and it is “[b]ased on an Israeli format created by a company called Armoza.” It just debuted in Spain, where it’s called El Marco.
