Bret Michaels will “make a 100 percent recovery,” might attend Apprentice finale

Bret Michaels is out of the hospital and will recover from the brain hemorrhage that left him in critical condition more than a week ago.

“I really expect that he will fortunately make a 100 percent recovery. He’s just one of those lucky people … he’ll make a complete recovery and be able to resume all (his) normal activities,” Barrow Neurological Institute neurosurgeon Dr. Joseph Zabramski told reporters, according to Reuters.

“What I made him promise me is that he would make no promises…we will reassess him at two week intervals. He’s still very sick right now. He’s a very determined person, and it depends on how quickly he recovers,” he added.

Reuters notes that the doctor “recommended at least four-to-six weeks of convalescence,” but the AP reports that “Michaels’ prognosis means he could possibly attend ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ finale May 23 at New York University’s Skirball Center.”
