Celebrity Apprentice finale was Thursday’s #1 show, had NBC’s highest ratings since Nov. 2006
The conclusion of The Celebrity Apprentice, when non-celebrity Piers Morgan won, was the number one show of the night, and brought NBC its highest Thursday ratings since November 2006.
With 12.1 million viewers, the finale was “#1 for Thursday night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures,” NBC said in a press release, citing fast overnight Nielsen ratings. It was the network’s “biggest overall viewership in the time period for a non-sports telecast in 16 months (since November 23, 2006).”
Compared to the sixth season, the show was up “24 percent in 18-49 rating[s], … and 27 percent in total viewers (9.1 million vs. 7.2 million).”
