ArchivesMichael Lohan, Lindsay Lohan’s father, was going to be a cast member on The Apprentice 7, the upcoming celebrity edition, but although Trump wanted him for the show, NBC’s lawyers said no.
“NBC lawyers rejected him because of his criminal past and current parole,” Tabloid Baby reports. Lohan is now spending his post-prison time training to be a minister, but is still on parole. Thus, he was replaced by Stephen Baldwin, who is one of the nine cast members revealed Friday, as the show is currently being produced in New York City.
In August, Trump reportedly said that he wanted to cast Lindsay Lohan along with Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. He also said that “everybody” wanted to be cast for the show, yet from what we know so far, he ended up with a group that’s barely D-list.
