FOX “freaked out” about Casino content.
After seeing the first episode of The Casino, FOX execs gave Mark Burnett “countless pages of notes asking him to cut any salacious scenes that could potentially land Fox in trouble with government regulators bent on cracking down on indecency over the airwaves,” E! Online reports. Thus, the show was “missing shots of strippers, showgirls and lingerie models, among other provocative scenes.” One scene that was missing: “a frat boy licking whipped cream off a semi-naked girl during a bachelor party,” which executive producer James Bruce said really caused heartache. “We thought it looked like a bikini, but they just freaked out over there,” he says.
