The Biggest Loser returns for a fourth season tonight at 8 p.m. ET with a two-hour premiere. The show has a new host, Alison Sweeney, and will feature the return of trainer Jillian Michaels as part of a new twist.
Alison Sweeney told reporters that she identifies with the contestants. “I’ve struggled with my weight my whole life. I think that’s a really common theme that most people experience at some point in their lives. I’ve been acting on ‘Days of Our Lives’ since I was 16 years old, and as a teenager, definitely became overweight. … It was a battle to shed those excess pounds as I went through (my) teenage years,” she said, according to The Boston Herald.
The show is currently casting for its fifth season; applications are due Friday.
