ArchivesTrainer Jillian Michaels will be part of The Biggest Loser 4 this fall. She inexplicably left the show or was fired last season, but she did appear on the Australian versions.
Jillian has “new role on the show [that] has been kept a secret,” Variety reports, and has no word about trainer Kim Lyons, who replaced Jillian last season. However, on her blog, Jillian says she will be a trainer:
YES — it’s true! I am returning to NBC’s The Biggest Loser this summer. It’s been a long time in the works, but now I can FINALLY let out the secret.I gotta tell you — I’m super excited. My team is FABulous, and I know you will adore them just as much as I do. They are working their asses off (literally), and I’ll be sharing bits of their journey here in my blog as we continue to shoot.
The fourth season will debut Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. ET, while the previous week NBC will air a “Where Are They Now” special. Executive producer Ben Silverman tells Variety that the special “is an innovative way to re-introduce an audience favorite and answer the question everyone asks — ‘Did they keep the weight off?’”
