Three episodes become one in tonight’s final episode of The Benefactor, which airs at 8 p.m. ET. Hailed as the first Apprentice clone, it turned out to be less formulaic and more tailored to Mark Cuban’s personality. The three who’ve managed not to piss him off or fail any of the tests for success are Dominic, Femia, and Linda. ABC has already spoiled the final twist in its previews (so stop reading if you haven’t seen them and don’t want to know). After each finalist gets a minute to plead their case, Mark Cuban will separately tell both of the final two players that they’ve lost—presumably to gauge how well they take the news, and to hopefully produce at least one fun-to-watch meltdown. Then, he’ll give one of them $1 million of ABC’s cash.
