The Bachelorette 3

Jen down to John Paul and Jerry; Ryan and his parents have issues with her.
Jen Shefft is just down to two men on The Bachelorette 2, one of whom she’ll inevitably profess her love for and then split with later, if the pattern holds. The two lucky guys are John Paul and Jerry. Before Jen makes her decision, this rapid-fire season will be stretched out a bit when, on Monday, “Jen’s rejected suitors gather to give the inside scoop … [and] former Bachelor Andrew Firestone makes a special guest appearance.” Ryan was the latest to go, and that’s good, considering both he and his parents are pissed at Jen. The issue is the episode where Jen visited their house and then expressed her annoyance at his parents’ apparent nonstop talk about Thailand. (“Let’s see, there’s Thailand, and Thailand, and, oh, Thailand,” Jen said in an interview.) While both Ryan and his mother Barbara Sheaffer say that the focus on their trip was, of course, all in the editing, and while Barbara told the Mail Tribune that they “actually had a good visit. She actually was pretty easy to get along with,” they’re annoyed with Jen’s reaction. “You don’t go on TV and diss somebody like that,” Barbara said. “Jen could have showed a little more class, especially with a national TV audience,” Ryan said.
