Why on earth would Jen Schefft, who “won” The Bachelor 3 but then broke off her engagement with its star, want to be on The Bachelorette 3? “I asked myself the same question at the beginning. I just couldn’t say no. … It’s a great opportunity to meet someone,” she tells Knight Ridder. Is she that incapable of meeting people on her own? “It’s easy to meet people. It’s not always easy to meet the right person,” she said. Jen was involved in casting her 25 suitors, and says that “I’ll know each of them or have talked to them or have seen them on tape before the show starts.”
