After selecting Amanda over Trista on the first Bachelor, Trista says that Alex Michel “told me that he thought he had made a mistake.” Thus, he and the now-star of The Bachelorette stayed in contact in secret, until Trista finally stopped communicating with him. But that wasn’t until after Amanda Marsh found out and left Alex, according to the New York Post’s account of an upcoming TV Guide story.
