Trista picks Ryan, rejects Charlie.
Ignoring the conventional wisdom and alleged spoilers, Trista Rehn rejected Charlie, selecting Ryan instead on the finale of The Bachelorette. “I don’t think he was in love,” she said of Charlie, who was stunned. In her best, highest-pitched baby-talk voice, she said, “I see white dress, and I see it with you….My walls have finally crumbled, and I can tell you without reservation that I am in love with you.” Then, bucking the show’s woman-in-charge theme, budding poet laureate Ryan got down on his knee and proposed. She accepted. The world rejoiced.
