Bachelor Pad spin-off will feature all-star Bachelor, Bachelorette contestants competing

ABC is taking another page from VH1’s playbook and spinning off an all-star edition of The Bachelor called The Bachelor Pad.

The Chris Harrison-hosted series will be a seven-episode competition between 20 past cast members, both male and female, winners and losers, who will be eliminated each week. Sound familiar? Like, say, MTV’s Challenge shows?

Executive producer Martin Hilton told the Hollywood Reporter that “[a]ll these people have been friends, been enemies, they date each other and bring all this great backstory to the show. It seemed like there was an opportunity to combine that world with a new competitive reality show.”
