California assemblyman Lloyd Levine has reportedly been asked to be the star of The Bachelor 8. At least, he’s been asked to apply. The LA Daily News follows up on a rumor posted by blog Mayor Sam’s Sister City and reports that “producers … have asked the 36-year-old Levine to submit an application to be a contestant.”
Although “he’s never even seen the show … he decided to fill the application out and give it a shot,” the paper says. Producer Michelle Castillo tells the LA Daily News, “He’s young, he’s hot, he’s single, he’s what I believe every woman’s looking for. He’s also got a great track record professionally. Great job, good looks, charming — he’s the complete package.”
And, since he’s a politician, he wouldn’t be using the show to promote himself, unlike previous Bachelors.
