One of Bachelor Charlie O’Connell’s former classmates is recounting tales of harassment he said he suffered at the hands of Charlie. Although Raymond Collins, now 29, has forgiven Charlie, because his “faith” told him to, Raymond still sold/told his story to the National Enquirer. Raymond says Charlie “subjected me and others to constant harassment, verbal terrorism, racial epithets and even physical violence.” Sometimes, he says, “I feared for my life. Not one day went by that I wasn’t verbally harassed about my weight or ethnicity.” He also says that Charlie once “attempted to throw me down a steep hill.” Now, seeing Charlie on TV has caused him to start “reliving high school all over again. My wife wakes me up in the middle of my nightmares because she can’t stand the screaming.”
The lesson here: Don’t screw with other kids to compensate for your own insecurities, or it’ll come back to haunt you, even if are already the laughingstock of ABC’s handful of Bachelor 7 viewers.
