Byron called police but didn’t want to press charges after fight with Mary
Bachelor 6 star Byron Velvick called police after getting into a fight with Mary Delgado in their truck, which ended with Mary getting arrested early last Wednesday, but he did not want to press charges.
While visiting friends, “Velvick wanted to leave because the couple they were visiting began arguing, but Delgado wanted to stay,” The Tampa Tribune reports, citing Pinellas County sheriff’s Sgt. Jim Bordner.
Brodner said that, in Byron’s truck, the couple “became involved in an argument which turned physical. … [Byron] told deputies she started striking him in the chest while he pushed her to her side of the truck.”
The paper reports that Mary “eventually struck him on the mouth, splitting his upper lip on the left side, Bordner said. He returned to the condominium to clean himself up and, while she waited in the truck, he called authorities, Bordner said. Velvick did not want to press charges, Bordner said, nor did he want his injuries photographed. Deputies determined that a crime had occurred and arrested Delgado on a charge of battery.”
